Wow I have not posted in a while! People may ask if I have stopped doing the thing that i love which is gaming. The answer is no. I have many updates to talk about. 1st of all I did leave UIB for a while to form my old guild again. that did not go well so i am back with them. In between I have learned some new tricks. I have learned how to 55 with my now 2 year old monk. Thanks to Uber Healer (if I remember correctly) for showing me how to 55 in a very profitable area. I really don’t want to get into details of the build and location of the area but I can tell you this. Each run lasts for 10-30 minutes. It depends on the spawn of the enemies. Speaking of enemies they are hard to kill since you have to go into hard mode but that is where it’s profitable. sometimes they drop from 102-168 gold pieces. With being solo you get all the money. There are also “gold drops” where when you identify they can be sold to a merch for 325+gp. There are other drops too but I don’t want to give out more details but i do want to brag about one of my drops. I got a gold bow with 30+HP and 33% duration on foes when poisoned and poisonous bow strings. If the poison part was natural I would be able to put a 20/20 mod on it to raise the value but it’s not but I can still use it for my ranger. I was just lucky to get the 30+HP mod. I also for some odd but good reason got 2 of the exact same drops from one kill. they were both purple but ended out being Major Vigors worth 3.2k each! That was weird and rare glitch. I wish they were Superior Vigors but a guy can dream. The main point to this part of the post is I can make 1.2k – 7.5k each run (depending on drops). So far I have been doing this for almost 12 hours of off and on playing and I have raised 120k! That is almost 12k an hour which is practically right on the nose since i did make 15k litterly an hour ago. I can see that money is no issue anymore in guild wars now that i have 2 money maker characters that at fist I thought were no good but later realized the power they had solo farming. My other run i do is on my warrior/ritualist where I go to the underworld and solo farm. This one is long and not a lot of drops but lucky to get 1 or 2 globs of ectoplasm worth 5k-7k each. One run I had 5 drops in a row! Then I was at the end of the run and i said to myself “save the best for last” I felt lucky and went on another run but did not get anything at all! that was just some rare luck you get sometimes.
Ok enough about money making in guild wars. I do have some title updates. With my new way of making money I can farm money for special events where you can get special items. They started a title recently called “party animal” where every time you use a party item such as poppers or fireworks you get point. I wish they did this a long time ago since i had over 250 fireworks and one weekend they had double points every 3 hours for 5 minutes. I could of got 500 points! There are more events coming up that involve party items so I can work on that title later.
I was about to give up on my GWEN titles but then realized a quick way to earn points but I have to play at least 3-5 hours a day to get the mega points. For those who don’t know what i am talking about. In the Expansion pack “GWEN” the way you keep track of your missions is by a book. When you do all the missions you turn the book in to the tribe leader and he will give you something like 45,000 points or something like that. One guy in my guild was able to max out almost all 5 titles in one month. Just maxing out those 5 gives you the 1 level of maxed titles title. My plan to do that and work on my protector of cantha and elona titles (which I am almost done) where that is 4 more titles right there. After that I get one more title is automatically added and it’s called protector of the continents with a total of 5 for just that section. Then I will have the 2nd level call “people know me” and I can capture a rainbow phoenix as a pet! After that I am not sure about the other titles. There are 5 levels of maxed titles and I will be in my grave playing this game to get that title.
Man i had a lot to say about guild wars but i am not done quite yet.
For the past 3-4 month I have been going to church. Yes I do get out of the house to worship in gods house. The pastor of the church invited me to lunch one day and was telling me that he is glad to see someone around my age attending church and wishes there was a way to get others to come to church. He told me many stories of the past churches he worked for. One of the stories he told me was there was this one group of young women that did not like the church thing but wanted to worship their own way. These group of girls go to the gym to work out and then later go to a place like golden coral and have a bible study. Something popped in my head but I could not figure out what was going on in my head. A few weeks gone by and I was browesing a local gaming community’s website that I have been a part of for the past 5 years. A new group was being formed but this was not any ordinary group. They called themselves “GOD’S GAMERS” and no they don’t play computer games like my little pony ranch or spongebob’s island adventure. They play the games I play but get together and have a devotion time on xfire as well as teamspeak! There is a plan of a lan party soon where we will game for 4 hours and then break for an hour for a devotion. After that we will game some more and then there will be another one a few hours later. For now they plan on doing console games only but will allow PC gamers. This was the idea I wish I would of thought up but did not realize someone else was thinking of the same thing as I was which is getting a bunch of young people together for fun and worship! I love the idea overall and joined the group. Again we are planning our 1st LAN but not sure of a date or place yet but we already have a schedule of events. This will take time but I know it will work.
Well I wish i can tell more but work has taken a toll on me. I hope for a shift change soon since this new one is killing me.
