Well looky here! What started as a rumor ended up coming true! Affiliates have sub buttons now! Afilliates get 3 tiers just like partners and they get 1 emote per tier as predicted. I can see why twitch did this but now there is a problem of what to do for an emote if you can only have one per tier! Do they expect people to sub a higher tier to use a particular emote? Interesting thing is I have a tier 3 sub since i am the channel owner. Looks like whatever i choose for my emotes is what i will be using since I will be the only one to use them. Maybe someone will sub to the $24.99 tier. I might treat all 3 tiers like my gamewisp tiers. I will figure this out sooner or later.
